ASPAN, a local association from Italy, has reached out to Genuine Way to digitize the supply-chain of cereals and wheat for the production of flour. This project successfully brings together farmers, mills and bakeries from the province of Bergamo (Lombardy) in an effort to share real-time data with consumers and assure the local farm-to-table provenance of the flour being used by each bakery.
BeviMi
BEVIMI is a mobile app, used in over 3 Italian universities, to incentivize students to reduce the use of single-use plastic bottles. With over 5000 students now choosing to use the University’s water fountains as opposed to bottled water, it’s a great success story of how an engaging gamification can actively improve the consumption habits of humanity.
WearMe 30 Times
Did you know that over 60% of the global impact of the fashion industry is determined by consumption habits as opposed to production itself? WearMe30Times is a gamification that incentivizes consumers to use garments a certain number of times before throwing them away. Revamping the famous “30 wears” campaign from Livia Firth, Genuine Way & Maakola have brought over 50 brands from across the world to unite by activating WM30T on their garments and engaging in a fun way with their customers.
SEA App
SEA App is one of the first examples of blockchain traceability within the waste management industry. SEAECO, a local waste management provider in Italy, reached out to Genuine Way to build a platform and app which integrates with a public blockchain to notarize data pertaining to every residential waste deposit, its pickup, journey & recycling. On top of this, a gamification incentivizes citizens to improve the way they separate and manage their waste.
