Four of the most prestigious fashion and design academies in Italy have come together to promote the theme of sustainability among their students.
Progetta in Verde is a “talent competition” created by Genuine Way and the Italian Fashion & Design Academy to encourage Italian academia to reflect on these important issues within their study programs and promote the creative talent of students interested in making the ecological challenge a true career.
Hundreds of fashion and design students were involved in developing 100% sustainable consumer products looking at supply chain and production choices, consumption opportunities and circularity. The 10 finalists were invited to the award ceremony during Milan Fashion Week in September, with the opportunity for job placements in top fashion or design corporate companies.
The two winners from the fashion and design sector won an internship respectively with important brands such as Vivienne Westwood and Magis.
The ceremony was held at Le Village by CA Milano, an open ecosystem that supports and accelerates innovation of young companies. It was a celebration and an opportunity to support a greener future.
